Witch Hunter Robin is a wonderful series, I thoroughly enjoyed all episodes. Some may find that the beginning of the series may be a bit slow but give it time and you'll see a better pace closer to the end. With this DVD set my likes were the special pin collection and haveing all DVDs in the fake book binding. My dislikes were not having the reversible covers of the single DVD volume covers. The DVD video is crisp and the sound is very good for 2.0 audio; both in japanese and english. This isn't something you get, watch once and that's the end. I found myself watching WHR again whenever I had the opportunity. For fans of WHR definitely get this set. For anime fans in general see the series first and then decide for yourself.

I have watched the series on ytv , i got this for my 18th birthday, and to my surprise, i love it. I'm not a big fan of anime, however WHR captivates me with the deep characterization, great plot, strong emotion, fantastic animation, and the music. This show is made so that the viewers feel like they watch a live-action series. I really want to yell at the writer of this WHR for the heartbreaking last episode, but on the positive side, it makes us think. Yeah.. i really wish they have a second season and honestly, I expected a little bit more romance between amon and robin, but overall, I couldn't ask for a better anime series

At the time. when I watched this series on TV, I didn't like it very much. But as time went by, I couldn't shake the series off my mind.

Though the ending is bitter-sweet--which may have caused a lot of people not to like the anime--it stands as a complete series without the necessity to need more. Whether my taste in anime, or movies, has changed, I liked the series a lot more than I did before.

I guess what I'm saying is, I appreciate the journey of watching each and every episode, regardless of how it ends.

As for the product, the swing tray inside can sometimes get stuck under Disc 1, so it doesn't freely flap side-to-side. That's my only complaint which is minor.

This DVD collection looks pretty cool from what I've seen and the series itself is a MUST HAVE for anyone! The story is indescribably lovable and fantastic in every aspect. The show itself isn't the happy-lovey stories with a happy ending in some way, it is dark, but sheds that streak of light when necissary. The show also Has many twists and unsolved mysteries to it. Not all things have a perfect ending...

Witch Hunter Robin is one of my FAVORITE animes EVER!!! It's the best, you have to watch it! You'll love it!

Well, I've watched Witch Hunter Robin on tv, and I really love this series. It's nice and gothy, and not too dark, but really, the ending was horrible. The could at least have made some effort to show the fate of Robin and Amon, or something to that effect. But instead, we get a narrative by Michael about how he doesn't believe Doujima's story that they both died. Personally, I hope that there is a second season on the way, if only so I can get a few answers! But other then that, it's a really excellent anime. It's not too violent, it's subtle, it's quiet, and it's just some amazing art!
