surprisingly the show is as good today as it was when i was a kid. it aged really well thanks to great stories, great acting and characters and who can't love the location and the ferrari. i still want to move to hawaii and drive a ferrari ... maybe skip the solving crimes bit though.

Some of the shows are good but a few when they play other parts or go to the main land are not so good. Unless your a collector like myself I wouldn't buy.

I purchased the Magnum series 1 - 8 and I just love them. It is a treat to be able to watch them without annoying commercials. And Tom Seleck is so handsome, it's a pleasure to watch him. The writing for each episode is just great, I only wish the writers of today would take note. If you are looking to be entertained, buy the Magnum series.
