I originally had a regular fat DS and although it worked well, the weight and design just caused a lot of issues...especially when playing games that require you to use your left hand to hold the handheld, while the other to use the stylus...caused a lot of cramps and frusteration. I recently picked up a DS Lite and its a HUGE difference over the original version. It's light, easier to get a grip on and it seems a lot brighter...definitely an excellent upgrade from the original design.

I have drop this thing a lot from high shalves and the thing still works i say its good for little kids the is the first one that came out i like it to read books but bewar of the cats chewig the charger and then giveing theds lite a charge it does not work bye a new one dont make it work as i have seen my self its easyer to just go out and buy one take the advise i give u i have owned my ds lite for about a year going on it to two years and the thing this works i frin the thing a great producd ever its a great buy thank you
