New to using a pocket hole jig, I went with an 'entry level' product
Works well, easy to use - a fine tool to have for projects
You will need to purchase a face clamp with this jig

Wanted one of these for years, I'm a big fan of Norm Abram and the New Yankee Workshop and had seen him use a pocket hole system on a number of occasions. I actually made a screen door in about 3 hours using this little guy. The kit only came with a few screws and six dowel plugs. I ended up cutting my own plugs, but you may want to buy some to save your time (and your elbow).

It's been a while since I began to search for one of those ! Nobody seem to know that in the hardware stores either, here in Laval, at least ! I finally found it at Amazon.CA and at a good price too ! You'll also find all the clamps and the screws etc. you'll need for your future projects ! At long last, I'm very happy to have found that tool, that will be very useful for cabinet or desk making !

I've had many project that I have wanted to do but realized that I would need to join boards or have some nice strong joints and that is when the project got put on the "to do someday when I'm better" list. Well I'm happy to day that those project are now moved to my "To Do" list thanks to the Kreg pocket hole jig. Joining boards is so easy with the Kreg jig that I found myself on a recent project and instead of getting a solid plywood sheet chose some nice cheap boards and joined them. It looks so much better and SIMPLE.
This is a well built product and I will probably end up getting the larger one with the built in clamp because I've begun using it so much and love it.
