Season 6 of Trailer Park Boys, that Canadian "mockumentary" program about three lovable ex-cons who can't stay out of trouble, shall forever be remembered for two simple words:
Yes, piss jugs. Seems that Ricky's father Ray (Barrie Dunn) is still living in his old truck cab, and can't break the old trucker habit of peeing in jugs. It's the way of the road, he says, even though his truck cab doesn't move an inch.
Piss jugs of varying hues of yellow and orange inhabit every episode of the brief but hilarious season 6. Only six episodes once again, but five of those six are classic. (The only one I didn't enjoy was "Oscar Goldman".)
Randy has finally dumped Mr. Lahey for his out of control drinking. Randy finds a new love in a surprising place, and Lahey straightens himself out. But he pretends to be drunk to ensnare Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles and send them back to prison. In the meantime, the Boys have started some businesses of their own: "Kittyland Lovecenter" for Bubs, "Garbageland" for Ricky (basically selling stolen goods and garbage), and "Corey and Trevor's Convenients Store".
Season 6 is more of what you love about Trailer Park Boys. After the somewhat darker Season 5, the 6th season takes you back to a more familiar setting. In a way, this season was treading water a bit, with many familiar story elements returning (Lahey quitting drinking, Randy leaving him, etc). Things do change quite drastically at the end in one of the best episodes ever ("Halloween 1977") which sets up the finale that was Season 7.
Make sure you watch the other seasons first or you won't really understand who these people are and why they do what they do. But do pick it up!

Obviously, if you're a fan of the Trailer Park Boys, you're a genius. Season 6 is awesome. In my opinion, the show gets more funnier every year. "High Definition Piss Jugs" is probably my favorite episode. Best show ever made.

I just love Trailer Park Boys. I have yet to see Season 6 & 7, except for a few clips online. Too bad the show is coming to an end.
Buying the DVDs from Amazon.ca is almost half the price as Amazon in the states. Come on Amazon, they are the same region so they will play both in the U.S. and Canada.

i love this show! it never made its way to the US, but a friend of mine from alberta turned me on to it a few years ago. season six was great, but too short. i think maybe they were too tired from the movie to film more episodes. but i loved it and it shipped to me (in Pennsylvania) in only a few days. thanks!
