No sound throughput on certain monitors and displays, this is the old model of HDMI cables, wish the seller stated so.
Skip it don't buy it not even worth the cheap $.

I bought this cable to connect my Mac to my LCD TV via a mini dv adaptor. It was a handy length but when connected it would not work. I already knew the mini dv adaptor was working, because I had previously had it connected with a Rocketfish brand HDMI cable.

I switched this cable over to Blu-Ray/DVD duty and it worked fine and used the Rocketfish to connect the Mac to the TV. Bottom line? Cheap cable that may not always work for the intended application. Videophiles may need not apply.

I received this product, from the seller, a few days EARLIER than the delivery time specified, that was a GREAT surprize! I immediately put the product to use and it MEETS and EXCEEDS my expectations! I had some trouble with a few of the cables but I guess that I can't complain when I compare the price to Monster cables.
