really reliable and great to use . . . I also dished out for a nice piece because I was going through so many cheap headsets . . . so far it is exactly what you'd expect it should be.

Great headset, crappy longevity
I got the 360 Wireless Headset about a year ago and I've really enjoyed using it since then. It's nice for all games, but particularly for Rock Band, since it saves you the trouble of having to wire up a headset to your instrument if you want to play online. Unfortunately, after one year of careful use, it died mysteriously. Microsoft's tech support was no help either,...

I got the 360 Wireless Headset about a year ago and I've really enjoyed using it since then. It's nice for all games, but particularly for Rock Band, since it saves you the trouble of having to wire up a headset to your instrument if you want to play online. Unfortunately, after one year of careful use, it died mysteriously. Microsoft's tech support was no help either, since they don't repair accessories and could only suggest that I "buy a new one". The headset is also ridiculously expensive at its list price (it sells for $70 in most stores), although I got mine from Amazon for $35 during Boxing Day sales last year. If you can get it for a lower price, you'll probably enjoy using it - but be warned that it might not last very long.

rembering to charge it is easy and becomes routine.

Great quality sound, just a little pricey, Nov. 1 2009

I've owned this headset now over a year, and I have to say hands down it was the best I've had. Sound quality is above and beyond anything I've used wired.
Only beef with this product is that it has a tendency to "cut out" for 2 seconds every 30 min or so, but really nothing to be concerned about. I wish I had purchased this on sale, as the $70 price tag was a tad steep, however after going through my 4th wired headset, I was willing to pay for some quality and wireless tech.
Good product if you can nab it cheap.
