This review is from: Numbers: Season 3 (DVD)
The show keeps offerring interesting stories, characters, and relationships. The mathematics have become less and less relevant to the crimes, compared with the first season, but that is inevitable. Most crimes cannot be solved with math. Yet the relationships within the Eppes family and within the FBI unit have become more complex and interesting.
The negatives include rushing the stories by trying to put too many twists into a 45-minute episode, as well as barely comprehensible mumbling by many of the characters. I often had to rewind the scene two or three times to figure out what exactly somebody said. Also, the bass is way-way-way too high; a new trend in TV shows I don't like.
The ending of the season is ridiculous, and the writers were forced to correct it early in Season 4 after a wave of viewer protests.
