And then there were four,

Five little Backstreet Boys, not youngsters anymoreKevin went off on his own, and then there were four Four little Backstreet Boys, hopefully unbreakable Though less than what they started with, they still sound unmistakable This album is a welcome return for the matured though down-sized Backstreet Boys, one of the surviving groups of the mighty boy band era. Still firmly entrenched in the mainstream pop genre, this album does not disappoint, with several tracks that merit being released as singles. First single "Inconsolable" is typical BSB, and is very similar to "Incomplete", the hit single from their last album. Other tracks to note are the upbeat "Everything But Mine", "Any Other Way", and the reggae influenced "One in a Million" and "Panic". Of course there are the trademark BSB ballads like "Something That I Already Know", "Love Will Keep You Up All Night", "Unmistakable", and bonus tracks "Downpour" and "In Pieces" to keep ballad-lovers swooning. Another interesting track is "Treat Me Right" written by A.J. McLean of BSB and J.C. Chasez formerly of `N Sync. A track I REALLY like is "Helpless When She Smiles", especially the chorus, which goes "I'm a house of cards in a hurricane / A reckless ride in the pouring rain", and with fourteen tracks and two bonus tracks, you're sure to find a favorite too. Recommended for fans of mainstream radio-friendly pop music. Amanda Richards

I LOVE this cd! It's so different from the usual Backstreet Boy cd, but still has the same quality and talent that you would expect from this amazing group. Better then I anticipated!

One of the best albums from the Backstreet Boys!!,

From their debut album until Unbreakable, the Backstreet Boys have always produced a high quality of music and it's a tragedy that this group has never won a Grammy award. Much like New Kids on the Block, the Backstreet Boys have produced #1 albums and top ten singles- but never a #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart and even my favorite radio station, 104.5 is staying away from the ballad, Inconsolable- which is a mistake. First time I heard Inconsolable, I had mixed feelings about it, but it's still a beautiful song. My favorite song has to be Something I Already Know which is an amazing song. Backstreet Boys have delivered another phemenonal collection of music. It is the best album of the year!!

Backstreet Boys have never failed to disappoint me. This album is no exception. The best songs on the album are Inconsolable and Something I already know. Backstreet Boys have lost one member- but the group is still amazing. This is a great album. It's an amazing collection. This is a must-have for every Backstreet Boys fan.

I LOVE this album!! I liked "Never Gone", which was a different style for the boys but this album brings them back to their signature sound. Even with the departure of member Kevin Richardson, the boys still surpase the expectations I had for this album. It did take me a few listens through the album for it to really grow on me but now that is has I don't want to listen to anything else!Stand out songs are of course "Inconsolable", "Something That I Already Know", "You Can Let Go", "Trouble Is", "In Pieces" Any Backstreet Boys Fan will love this album, as well as any music fan of pop!

DIVERSITY,
By
This review is from: Unbreakable (Audio CD)
This album is so diverse. It captures each uniqueness of each member of the group and yet it brings their voices together as if one voice grows from the other or it becomes the other. The vocals are just amazing. You get to really listen to their voices. Usually with each album I get take away with the music and I just sing along. But, with this album it's almost as though I can drown out the backround music and just listen to their voices because they are so powerful. The songs speak to you, and each word is sung so clearly you understand what each singer is singing. It is just so brilliantly done. As they do with each album they have their dance songs and slow songs. They also have a little club sounding song as well as some but a bit of a rock twist to it. They have truly grown in their music as well as their vocals. Howie finally gets a chance to branch out and sing. Nick, Brian and A.J remain with their soulful harmonies. Although, Nick has his rock sorta voice as he portrayed inhis solo album. Honestly, such an amazing album with great songs. The Backstreet Boys should be very proud with their work on this album. Also, to collaborate with a song written by JC Chasez a former NSYNC member, truly shows the maturity and appreciation of music they share. It's all about the music and not neccesarily the history it once had. It's a powerful thing. The backstreet boys continue to heal everyones soul, at least those who listen.Definitely a great buy! BSB 4 ever

This is the boys best album since Millenium, IMO. It is not quite as good as Millenium, but it's up their. Their vocals are better than ever. I love the Backstreet Boys, and I am so glad that they are back. I hope they stay unbreakable.

BEST YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!,
By
This review is from: Unbreakable (Audio CD)
This album is definitely their best yet!!!!! You can't even be sure what to categorize it under, as the music is all so different, but all so VERY good! There's upbeat songs, like Panic & Everything But Mine; there's mid-tempos like Treat Me Right; and there's slow songs like Trouble Is. They're all just totally AMAZING!!!!! If they don't win a Grammy for this album - the world better get their ears checked!
