I can't believe I actually spent money on this one. The first instalment was alot of mindless fun and I expected more of the same from this film...boy was I wrong...What a load of crap this movie is absolute dug. Courtesy of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, directed by David Flores this made for TV movie is badly scripted, badly acted and contains some of the worst CGI in the history of cinema. How this movie ever got made I have no idea, if you happen to see this movie at your video store don't even think about it!!! Staring John Schneider ( Dukes of Hazzard ), Sarah Lafleur, Sam McMurray and Cloris Leachman this film pretty much follows the same story line at the first film. After a crocodile attack, the Sheriff Riley ( Schneider ) begins a search of the lake along with his freind in an attempt to kill the beast that is terrorzing the town. Following a bunch of deaths and a bunch of bad dialogue the beasty is dispatched and the good guys win end of story... that's pretty much it in a nut shell. I would not recomend this movie to anyone.

I SWEAR the only reason this is unrated is because they stuck in an extra scene with random topless girls who get eaten and are never mentioned again...

Lake Placid 2 is bad... Like set a trap for the giant croc by putting a turtle in a net and then hiding behind a bush bad... That being said, you can probably see why this movie still has some entertainment value!

I actually bought this KNOWING how bad it was... I was wooed by the packaging -- OoOoOooooOOoo bumpy!!! Lake Placid 2 works after a few drinks with some friends (If you can find someone else who wants to chance it).
