I purchased this dual pack, full of entertainment with Lana Turner giving a stellar performance. I would suggest that the younger crowd if given the chance to purchase and view both of these movies and make sure you have a box of kleenex for Madam X because you're going to need them. I saw both of these movies in my teens and just had to have them for my collection.

I have watched Madame X over and over and I never get tired of that movie - it is a definite must to watch - make sure you have a box of Klennex, you will need them.
Portrait in Black is OK, not the same drama or story line as Madame X.

Saw theses movies as a teenager way back when and when I viewed them again recently ....well they still hold their own.

We see real people with real problems. Lana Turner is one of the best actresses. If you like Drama and crime and passion, you will love these two movies. A look into your own soul is not an easy look that is truthful. Women have always had a difficult time and this is not different. Action, drama, crime and passion. you can't beat it.

Cried My eyes out!! What a movie....unforgettable....
Reminds me how much yo don't need high tech effect to watch a good movie, Just a plain raw brilliant scenario will do.
