Great replacement for the more expensive name brand Canon battery. So far the charge and battery life is ok. Recommended.

I ordered these batteries after the link to them came up when I ordered a camera. They are the wrong batteries, do not work with the camera I purchased. Not worth sending them back, but not happy about the purchase.

Work great on my Canon Elph 100HS as far as i know. I charged it on my Canon charger and put it in my camera and it was working. Will be used as my second battery when the 1st one is empty. For now, i don't know if it last as long as the genuine Canon battery.

I have ordered two of these batteries during the post holiday sales at a great price. Product arrived in a timely manner from the vendor. The batteries don't last quite as long as the originals but at this sales price it is a fair trade off as I got the two pack deal offered at that time.

I gave these 1 star because they dont do whats advertized, not because they suck.

but they ARENT high capacity by any means. 1 lasts the same as the stock canon battery, and the other lasts LESS.

would i buy again? YES, but if your looking for high capacity; its not these.

I bought a Canon Elph 300 in January because I didn't want to lug my SLR camera along on a trip to India. I bought these as extra battery packs thinking that I might need them since they say the one weakness of the Elph is a shorter battery life than competitors. Well the Canon battery lasted an average of two days constantly shooting pictures. The one day that I ran low and switched to the GT Max battery it lasted less than three hours. In other words these batteries are useless. I'm not blaming anyone but myself. However I would expect Amazon to be a little more particular in choosing suppliers simply to protect their reputation. I buy a lot from Amazon as we have relatives in the U.S. and this is the first time I've been disappointed. As they say, you get what you pay for. So here are two new batteries for the recycle container.

Have been using battery for 3 weeks and it still doesn't need a recharge. Great buy at a fraction of the cost of the name brand.

I bought this to replace the Canon brand battery in my camera. The Canon battery was about 3 years old, and I had to charge it every night if I wanted to use it the next day. I wasn't expecting much for the price of these new batteries (a replacement Canon was $75.00), but these batteries turned out great. I charged the battery, put it in the camera, and have yet to have to recharge it 1 month later - and we went on a family weekend trip in there, so 100+ pictures, and just sitting there. You can't go wrong buying this battery.

At this price, I figured it wasn't much of a risk to try these. They don't last quite as long as the original (maybe 2/3 - 3/4 as long in my non-scientific testing), but at 1/10 the price they're great to have as a backup.

These batteries are just as good as the OEM ones at a fraction of the price. Sometimes aftermarket products are slightly different in size but these ones are exactly the size of my original - fit in the charger and the camera perfectly. Shipping took a little longer than I expected, but other than that, no complaints.
