My husband and I love playing Mario Kart on the Wii, but both of us prefer the wheel immensely. It was necessary for us to get a second one. It makes driving so much more intuitive and I find I can focus on so much more of the other aspects of the game than just steering and have a lot more fun with the wheel. We've also found that visitors really pick up the game much more easily with the wheel and it's great for little kids. Makes the remote easier to hold in a larger range of hand size, really. Definitely recommended to anyone picking up Mario Kart Wii who will be playing with others.

This is not an Official Nintendo Wii Wheel. It may have all the markings like the Official Wii Wheel but this is not official.

It works, the Wii remotes fit but official branding is missing. The filter for the IR is just purple plastic and you can see through it, the Wii Logo is also missing on the back of the wheel.

This vendor should either SELL the REAL Deal or remove 'Official' from the title.

These are great to have with wii mariokart. Although you don't really need them,it's just fun to have the feeling of driving.

This wheel makes the games a lot easier, especially for the little grandsons when playing. I even find it much easier to use while biking, driving, and am pleased to have gotten them.

It's not a bit of kit you need. But it makes a the games a bit more relistic and a bit more fun. I can not manage what my wii racing life would be like without my wheel. It is very well made and feels good. I know it's not for everyone, some perfer the traditional contollers but I think it makes the games like Mario Kart.
