5.0 out of 5 stars JM in Blu Ray
Great concert beautifully shot and recorded. The music is outstanding and the treatment really brings the whole experiance to life.
Better than being there live!

3.0 out of 5 stars Just play, John, please!
Once again John Mayer shows us why he is one of the best blues guitarists living, as well as an outstanding writer of pop tunes.
He does a three set show here, the three sides of John. The fourth side is when he opens his mouth to talk to the audience......it kinda goes of the tracks at that point. He his horribly self absorbed and pretentious, and for me I am left...

If only he would just play?

I have this product on DVD, so as soon as I got a Blu-ray player, I ordered this. I am a huge JM fan, and this Blu-ray disk is exactly what I was expecting. Where the Light Is, with better video and audio. Can't ask for more!

I love concert videos and now they're even better in blu-ray. This one is a great choice as it comes with the concert and extra stuff, including BDLive access to additional content (of course you'll need your player connected to access BDLive content - mine is through my PS3).

No complaints, price was good at $21, you won't be disappointed...and Amazon was great. I ordered it on Thursday morning and it was in my mailbox Friday afternoon - standard delivery.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Condition!, Dec 14 2011
This review is from: Where The Light Is: John Mayer Live In Los Angeles (DVD)
The DVD took a bit longer than expected to be shipped. Fortunately, the DVD is in amazing condition! The packaging was not overly large and the DVD case is perfect (no indents or bent corners). I would definitely order from this seller again.

1.0 out of 5 stars Less Mayer than ever, Oct 8 2010
This review is from: Where The Light Is: John Mayer Live In Los Angeles (DVD)
I was really disappointed at the release of this DVD having had a sampling and picking up on the 'buzz' of the content before it's release. I bought it anyhow and it is John Mayer at his 'average' and while mentioning he wants to 'bookmark' his progress up to now the whole thing just becomes completely self indulgent. There are better performances of almost everything on this DVD out there and recorded web casts that are still available everywhere that blow the doors off this DVD. Nothing original, particularly with the trio and by the end with the whole band there's a kind of a 'let's just get this done' feel about the whole thing. The real DVD should have been shot during the 'Continuum' Tour where the band was hot and the YouTube videos of those shows will back this up. Save your money on this one and but the CD 'Try' featuring the trio and pick up the web casts of the Webster Hall show.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crank it up!!!, Jan 8 2011
Outstanding video and audio. Has 3 music sets:
Acoustic - which is Great,
Jazz - so so,
Pop (John with band) - Great.

Video footage gives you the best seat in the house, soundtrack outstanding with very little crowd noise.
