I did not know this movie existed until I saw it on Amazon. As far as nostalgic Christmas movies go - it was great. A real feel-good happy ending.

Wonderful vintage movie about a group of "homeless" people in New York. If you like old movies from the 1940s this one should be added to your collection. Christmas scene is reminiscent of old Hollywood. A great addition to a classics collection.

I saw this movie for the first time in 2010. I'm not sure why I never watched it before. It's one of the "oldie but goodies". I had no expectations and was thoroughly and wonderfully surprised. So much so, that I had to add this movie to my Christmas collection.
