This is by far the best compact drill and impact driver on the market. I purchased a set two years ago and have used them frequently in all kinds of weather and conditions. With proper respect paid to these they will last a few years. Both thumbs up on the light wieght and balance of them.

I don't know why they say the regular price is so high as you can buy this at the regular price of $349 from Milwaukee's Canadian web store. It is on sale even cheaper then this price with free shipping. Ironically, I only found this out by following the sponsored link on this page.

I bought this combo about a year ago. I built several decks and driven many leg bolts with the driver. I'm very happy with the kit. I went to a Milwaukee dealer to purchase an extra large battery as a spare. What a shock. It was almost the cost of the drill/driver kit. Expect to spend over $100 for the small battery and close to $200 for the large.

I have had this set for two years now, mind you I bought it from a Canadian tool supplier....... But I have to say I love my impact driver I am constantly up and down ladders with my hands full so I love that my drill can hook onto my belt and free up my hands. The other great purks are the quick release chuck, the led light for dark spaces and the battery light that let's you know how much juice you have left in your drill. Hands down this kit is a great investment.

Recently, I purchased the Milwaukee drill and impact driver combo unit. Until this purchase I have never liked any of the cheaper battery powered drills. I tried to use them for construction / driving screws etc. etc. They were underpowered and became paper weights on my shelf. These include Mastercraft, Black & Decker and Ryobi Brands. (I had to resort to electric hand drills and extension cords.) This Milwaukee combo unit is fabulous. I love it. I could kick myself for not purchasing it sooner. Lots of power. Far more convenient than any cheap electric drill. I have had absoloutely no problems with the drill, impact driver or the lithium-ion batteries.
I highly reccommend this product. The price is considerable but the best price by $60. was with Amazon.

I work in the trades and i must say these tools are a good set. i use them every day in the cold and heat. two thumbs up . only regret i have is not buying them sooner !

I feel that this brand is the best in the business right now.
It is heavy duty for that class.
Everyone should have one.

This is a fantastic tool combo, for the home handyman or the pro. I use mine at my maintenance job, and my coworkers are always trying to borrow it. The 'fit and finish' is top-notch, and both tools have all the power I've ever asked of them. If you're going to be using either tool for an extended period through the day, you'll want to invest in a 3 amp-hour battery (and be prepared to choke at the price), but I haven't been able to kill both compact batteries in a day yet. They charge in less than half an hour, and the on-board indicator tells you how much juice you've got left.

If I had one very minor con, the hard plastic case provides very little room for accessory storage (bit packages, nut drivers etc). There is extra space to accomadate larger batteries, if you buy them, but that's about it.

All in all, probably the best buy of the big-name combo kits.

Perfect size, weight and quality.
Don't worry what the wife might say.
