My wife is prone to focal areas of muscle spasm in her legs and back and this device does seem to encourage the muscles to contract properly and then relax. She reports that it is not as effective nor long lasting as deep massage, but likes the fact that she can apply it to some areas by herself.

I suffer from myofascial pain syndrome after a lower trapezius muscle injury from sports. I've tried EVERYTHING from creams, to heat compression, to medication, and NOTHING has had such a wonderful impact on my back as this. It doesn't take the injury away, but it gives you amazing relief, I've been smiling all day since using it, and am excited to use it again and again. Very affordable at home option. I highly recommend this item.

So, I started looking around on the internet and although this product does not discuss pain relief I knew that it was a very cost effective TENS. The big question, would it really work for the pain relief. Quite simply, this was a G-d send.
