I came upon this series via recommendations from Amazon.ca and I loved it. I think the British series are far superior to american series. What I love best about this series is that the people look like real people and they act like real people. They sometimes don't get along; they sometimes snap at each other; and their faces are the faces of real people, wrinkles and all....and the pretty young woman in the series wears turtlenecks and slacks; no high heels and low cut tops for her AND yet you can still tell that she is very attractive. That's the way it should be. The stories are very good mysteries. You have to think and the answers are not obvious. Have purchases all three years and recently shared with a friend who also loved the series.

The Brits did it again...highly recommend the whole series. Wonderful writers, great cast,Glad we found it. I looked for an edit button on season 6. It was season 7 where Eve's character turned grumpy..NOT season 6. Seasons One - six ....EXCELLENT!! |
