5.0 out of 5 stars light and compact
for the price this is a great tent. a very clever design that is very quick and easy to set up. I was looking for something light and compact for cycle touring and backpacking and this fits the bill. it's not self supporting, but only needs 4 anchor points. the fly is attached and can be rolled down when it rains or up when you want to star gaze. the vestibule has 2 doors...

3.0 out of 5 stars Swiss Gear Eiger Hiker Tent
For the price, it's not bad. The fly only overhangs the mesh netting by about 1 inch, so if the forecast is calling for rain and you don't have a tarp, you may get wet. 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice tent, Sept. 22 2011
This review is from: Swiss Gear Eiger Hiker Tent, 7' x 5' x 40" center height, Orange & Charcoal Color (Sports)
Tried it out for two nights and it worked out well. Not sure about the performance in the rain sine the fly could be lifted by the wind very easily. All in all it did the job.

All in all, if the forecast is calling for only sunshine, it's a decent product. I wouldn't recommend it for someone that intends to go die-hard into the sport.
