This disc show Jeff Beck at his absolute best! The band he chose had only been playing together for 6 months, but you'd swear that they'd been together for years. They played flawlessly in front of a full crowd at Ronnie Scotts, a venue known for its premium jazz acts. In the interview, Jeff states that it is a nerve wracking experience not to be repeated. Under the microscope, as it were, no mistakes allowed! But they all pulled it off as if it were any other gig.
I have not seen a better group of players.

What can I possibly say about Jeff Beck which hasn't already been said? This BluRay captures Jeff Becks live performance at the legendary Ronnie Scott's jazz club in beautiful DTS HD Master Audio with crisp visuals that make you feel like you are right there in the front row. The band features Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, Jason Rebello on keyboards, and 22-year-old sensation Tal Wilkenfeld on bass. Jeff is a master of the guitar and his delicate touch on songs "Cause We've Ended As Lovers' "Angel" and "Nadia" just ooze warmth. What I especially liked about the visuals was that you got to see a lot of Jeff working the guitar up close and personal. Something guitar players like myself always enjoy getting the opportunity to see. All in all, every song on the disk is enjoyable. You even get to see Jeff jam with Eric Clapton on songs 'Little Brown Bird' and 'You Need Love'. Those two jams alone are almost worth the price of the BluRay itself. All in all, I give this disk 5 out of 5 stars. Bonus footage is equally impressive.

If you're a Jeff Beck fan, this is a MUST HAVE! Great camera direction, great sound, and the performances will leave you in awe. A masterpiece!

If you are a Jeff Beck fan, or a guitar enthusiast, then this is a must see dvd - Jeff and his band are really having a good time here in a great environment, and the film-maker is clearly a player as he has kept his cameras trained on Jeffs hands for all the juicy bits - made me put the whammy bar back on my strat!!

Perhaps these two reviewers aren't reviewing the correct item, or they have a grudge against Amazon or Jeff Beck or both. Have you not noticed that this DVD hasn't been released yet? You have to wait until March 31, 2009. There's no way they can ship before that date. If the release date has been put off in the past, that's hardly Amazon's fault, and no I don't work for them.

This is one of my favourite concerts. Jeff Beck is one of my guitar heroes. The band in this concert is smoking hot. Wow!

I did read that the release has been delayed a few times but I can honestly say, it was well worth the wait and all is forgiven. Superb picture and sound not to mention the raw power and precision of Beck and his band makes this Blu-ray a must-have! A+ on the supplemental features as well, in-depth interviews with Beck and his members really add to the package. This one won't leave the player for some time, do yourself a favour and add this one to the collection.

This video shows that Jeff Beck is a FANTASTIC guitar player. No other guitar player from the 60's had so much evolution in his playing..his technique is simply AMAZING !!

And his band is VERY GREAT. Vinnie Colaiuta is one of the best drummer in the world.He played with the great Frank Zappa who considered him as the best drummer he played with ...during solos..he anticipate so greatly.
The young bass player is so GREAT that it amaze Jeff frequently during the concert..We dont hear that much the organ player but he's a good musician too.

Highly recommanded!! JEFF IS THE BEST!
