This DVD box set captures the essence and beauty of Italia. The heart stopping scenery and panoramic views are enough to send shivers down one's spine. Apart from being a well informative documentary, it can also serve as a reference for travellers or simply watch it to relax.

saw some of it on PBS, and wanted more. However it drags after awhile, and I didn't see Venice, Piza, Vatican, Genoa, etc.

The only thing that would beat this magnificent show is to actually be there. I have experienced eden many times over while watching these DVD's. This is definitely a ten on ten. Thank you.

If you're planning a first time vacation to Italy then this video gives you some great insight to one of the most beautiful countries. I would highly recommend it.

J'avais déjà vu ce "documentaire" sur PBS, mais seulement la partie du Sud de l'Italie. L'ensemble Blu-Ray "Visions of Italy" comprend deux disques qui présentent : le Nord, le Sud et les principales villes avec bonus.

Les images sont magnifiques. Après un premier voyage en Italie cet été, nous voulions s'y retrouver par la magie de la télé HD. La version Blu-Ray est vraiment superbe. La narration est intéressante et la musique de fond est représentative de l'Italie. Si vous ne l'appréciez pas, vous pouvez toujours fermer le son et simplement regarder les belles prises de vue par hélicoptère.

C'est un excellent choix pour un visiteur futur de l'Italie ou encore pour un visiteur nostalgique.

the dvd was just what was advertised , in very good shape , and came quickly . this was a nice way to visit another country

Watching this video makes me feel so good. Seeing the most beautiful parts of Italy is one thing; but seeing them from the air is just divine. I feel detached from the ants below and I see the big picture, the whole picture; not only the landscape but also the man-made structures and architecture. The guys who videotaped this DVD had an artistic approach because this is a work of art I replay this DVD over and over and never get bored. Well worth the money.
