5.0 out of 5 stars A Short, but Great Ride!
It seems like all the horror related games on the Wii are rail shooters so they can sell the Wii Zapper. It also allows them to sell a short game for 50$.

Aside from being short and a little too expensive, this game is awesome. Extraction is a faithful prequel to Dead Space. There were some surprises; things that I didn't expect to see in a rail shooter like...

3.0 out of 5 stars Game Excellent, but difficult to see anything...
I first tried Dead space on the Xbox360 and loved it.

So I tried the one on the wii with my boyfriend.

The story is short but it is very interesting.

The only actual complaint I have is that its always pitch black and we never see much! So how are we suppose to kill if we cannot see nothing?

This is its major drawback.

Aside from being short and a little too expensive, this game is awesome. Extraction is a faithful prequel to Dead Space. There were some surprises; things that I didn't expect to see in a rail shooter like puzzles, shaking the Wiimote to turn on the light in dark places and having to solidify barricades.

Add to that all the great aspects from the first Dead Space like zero-gravity, telekinesis (pick up objects and throw them), stasis (slow down objects or enemies) and weapons with two firing mode.

Did I mention how cool the Dead Space weapons are?
