being born at the begenning of ww2 I was sentisized very young to what happen during the almost 6 yrs of that war.....when I first viewd that movie on dvb I was taken aback with the subject matter as it happens in 1958 13 yrs after the end of hostillities..........as the teacher in the movie mentionned there were over 8000 employees that worked at austwitz alone.....there were hundreds of camps all over Europe and by 1958 nobody beside the big whigs were ever condemed ..........when seen from that angle the holocost take a complet different aspects.....in movies camp guards are most always depicted by soldiers who are ordered to do a job....but here we have in the character Hanna schmitz seek employment...this has openned a whole new vista for me and on which I am still debating the whole question of the HOLLOCOST.......a.m.
