Great item for the price... no problem plug it in your iMAC and thn another display you wish to use (TV or monitor) and it works (remember press cmd + f2 to switch your display).
I use it for my TV to show my family videos and photos... the quality is excellent.
If you think in plugging a PS3 or Xbox it will not work on your iMAC you'll need an HDMI amplifier for that. (I tried it) trust me it doesn't work. it's a shame some idiots are out there posting lies to sell crap.

Works excellent with my Mac Book Pro, has great HD quality when watching movies and is great for presentations or just using your mac book on a bigger screen.

Great Video and AUDIO quality. People seem to think that the audio doesn't work (it does). Just go into your mac preferences and change the audio output! This is the best deal on amazon! Computer stores want $40 for this cord which is an absolute crime. MUST HAVE for all mac owners

Worked on the first try on 21" iMac. Why pay 30-40$ for this in an apple store. Its simple theft. Buy this one, its well worth the price.

This little device is worth every penny. It works perfectly with my Macbook Pro 15' and LG Smart TV. Compared to Apple store prices for a similar item , this piece is a steal. I had one previously , but after a year it wouldn't work. But for around $3 i had no hesitation ordering it again. I would recommend it.

This is a great Mini Display Port to HDMI adapter, this will push 1920 x 1080P at 60Hz no problem provided your output and input can handle it. More importantly this adapter will allow audio pass through so you can use your Macbook, or video card such as a Radeon 7770 to supply your HDTV with video and audio. Physically my adapter measures 6 inches long and has an off white colour cable with cream white plastic ends. Would buy again.

This works on my 24" monitor with HDMI, but on my Sony 46" TV my MacBook Pro detects the TV and displays the name on the Mac but does not display anything on the TV.
I was thinking this may be a refresh rate problem, but under Lion \ Mountain Lion I do not see a spot to change the refresh rate, any suggestions would be helpful.

The product is good, exactly as ordered and seems good quality, price is excellent and shipping was also very reasonable but if you are expecting to get it in a hurry, be informed the 5- 12 days is not even close to correct. I ordered Nov 11, 2011 and got it on Dec 22. I think it comes from Russia but I am not sure. Otherwise everything is fine and I am happy with the product

great price happy with product and just had to wait 3 weeks for it to come i understand that but it was a great price so kinda worth the wait

Was a little reluctant to buy because of the price but decided to give it a try and that was a great decision. I waited to write this review because I thought the cable would break after a few days. Its been at least 3 weeks of non stop use and it still works great. The quality is not the best but for the price its an amazing deal and you will not be disappointed.
