Donc bon produit pour ce genre de divertissement, a recommander aux adeptes.

3.0 out of 5 stars Worth the pain
While this is definitely not the best game of the Silent Hill series - mainly due to the fact that it can be hard and loses its scare factor - I ended up really enjoying the story and wanting to start all over again!

This game has great atmosphere, and the tests and its repercussions make it a great experience. The Wiimote control behaves great at the use of its speaker is a nice feature (and if you don't like it, you can change the speaker voice to come from the TV).

The only real sin of this game is calling itself Silent Hill, where killing enemies and the constant fear of the enemies waiting for you behind the next corner is a distinct feature (something this game lacks).

Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (Video Game)
This game is definitely not for the average gamer who is used to kill enemies of some sort; it doesn't matter who or what. Why? Because you won't be able to shoot or beat anything for the first time in a Silent Hill game. The only things you can do are run, solve puzzles and have sessions with your psychiatrist. Even if two of those things are fine, the running parts of Shattered Memories are what makes the experience a lot less enjoyable.

I knew there would be no shooting when I bought the game. What I didn't know was that it would be so annoying. When you're running from the monsters, it's not so easy to find the right way to successfully escape them. I always had to restart those sections several times and when that happens the fun just isn't there anymore. I only did half of the game and I don't know if I'll ever finish it.

Update:

I finished the game a while ago and the end was great. It was also funny and a little disturbing how the game (the psychiatrist) was able to uncover certain aspects of my personnality based on the way I played. Thus, I was satisfied with the conclusion. However, I don't think I will ever play Shattered Memories again because of the gameplay.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Reimagining, Oct 16 2011
Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (Video Game)
SH:Shattered Memories is a great reimagining of the original Silent Hill. Like the first game, you play as Harry Mason, a clean, regular father having a drive with your 6-year old daughter Sarah. When your car swerves and crashes into a post, you black out. When you wake up, it's dark out, your daughter's gone, and all you have is a flashlight. The changes from the original are obvious; the graphics are updated to modern times(atleast modern times for Wii), and there's no more combat. For fans of Survival Horror games like Resident Evil and Dead Space, this may turn some off to this game, but the no-combat approach is implemented in a way so that combat feels almost unnecesary. The only "weapon" is a flare that fends off "The Nightmare" until it burns out. The majority of the game is spent exploring the(very creepy) world, looking for hints and clues to the whereabouts of your daughter, and why you can't seem to remember anything before the crash. The next section is spent running from the Nightmare trying to find an escape from the recently frozen world in these intense sequences. Then there's the Psychiatrist sections. In this part, your virtual Psychiatrist asks you questions about yourself, ranging from high school to more adult themes.(There's a reason this game is rated Mature) And the game actually changes itself depending on your answers, creating your own personal nightmare. An already great game with a great reimagining, SH:Shattered Memories is a great addition to the slim mature Wii lineup.
