Awesome Awesome Awesome, Nov 25 2009

This game is amazing. That is really all I am going to say about it. Making your own levels can be hard and very time consuming (especially if you make a fantastic level) but it is worth. There are loads of content packages avaiable in this version of the game that are not available in the original release. If you are buying this game just to play the single player, then I would stick to the original version if it is more within your budget, but if you plan on creating some stellar levels, then buy this one since it has so much more that you would have to pay for to download otherwise.

My grandson (4 yrs.) loves this game, he loves the little guy and stickers! It amazes me how he figures out what to do next!

Awesome Game, Dec 25 2010

We gave our 11 year old daughter this game for Christmas and she loves it. The whole thing just feels very different from the typical console game. Right off the bat you have a sort of guide who sounds a bit like Stephen Fry or the narrator in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and he helps you quickly figure out how things work. The visuals and sounds are wonderful. There is a lot of humour built-in to the scenarios. It all reminds me a little of the Beatles' Yellow Submarine movie, and is simply a beautiful game. And Sackboy is darn cute. Multiplayer, the game requires you to work together rather than compete, which is a nice change.

LBP pretty much appeals to everyone! The whole family will enjoy it and with new content constantly being churned out, you won't ever get bored with this one.

I bought this game for my daughter who is in High School and she loves it. Then my teenage son who likes Shooter games started playing and also really enjoys it. The fact that they can actually make up there own levels and play levels that others have made is very fun.

Lots of content. Jumping physics feel floaty and you slide at times for no reason.

One annoying little big glitch......, Dec 4 2011
Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars

This game is loads of fun! The biggest thing that makes this game so great is its' entertainment value. The only annoyance is the control issue. Jumping from foreground to background doesn't always work when and how you want it to. There seems to be a minor delay between the jump command and the actual jump. Other than this, the game is amazing and I highly recommend it!

I was sceptical of what this would be like and when it began to run I thought Oh gee.. how silly, but as it progressed it was more and more fun. I can now understand why it's the Game of the Year. You have to play it to understand.

After reading the reviews you would think this game would be one of the top platformers. In my opinion it is not. Its a not a bad game. It just gets tiresome and repetitive. Younger gamers who just want to hop around will enjoy it though.
