If you've ever played the original InFamous, then you'll feel right at home here. Much of the controls and style is back, but tweeked a little. The new location of New Marais adds a nice touch of charm. The main character has changed in looks & voice, but after awhile, it becomes comfortable. The new characters start to grow on you as you progress. The cinematics are very, very good, as well as the comics book style of the original, as well as the new powers & upgraded Karma system. The story is fantastic, and the action is superb!
Even when the action becomes frantic, the frame-rate flows nicely.
There are a few small knocks as far as some tougher-than-it-should-be side missions, but a few simple and touching ones.
This is a must own for any PS3 owner, great games like these must be supported.

If you liked Infamous then you will like Infamous 2. The game play and graphics are improved. Some of the same types of powers through out the game but also lots of good new powers. The one difference from number one, Cole seems to have a different voice actor. This does not really take away from the quality of the game.

I had been looking for a good deal on this game for a whole. I found a great deal with this seller! And the game is Great too! The story line takes off where it left off on the first game. The plot is good but the powers or kind of redundant. All and all, I give I've it a 5 out of !

inFAMOUS is the type of game when you look back on Spider-Man and say with great power comes great responsibility, but he thinks and moves like Batman.
The Character Cole McGrath has power beyond his (your) control sometimes but yet it is very hard to fouc-us that power on a scattered group of bad-guys. as in all games like this one there is a sniper-mode which some people think is good enough but I think it should have a mode or he should have an ultimate attack that you can select from a far distance a few bad-guys target and pinpoint them and then blow them up all at once but you don't which forses you just to win battles off of his grenades and electric stik thing. It's likeable but it takes a while to love because the everybody loves when a charchter can just blow up stuff with power

A fun game to play. Our grandson spends many hours enjoying the adventures of this game. It is spell binding.

To sum up this game in a short paragraph. If you liked the first Infamous; you will really like number 2. Better story and side missions, tougher enemies, new powers combined with the originals.

It was a Great game all the way through, But easily beat. About a week after purchase i beat it on Hard mode. I don't know if its just me or if they just made the story shorter then the first one,( granted on easy mode first time through i didn't get all the voice logs and help very many people in trouble -good side.) All and all Good game worth playing sometime again in the future and play the extra missions that people all over the world put into the mix.

Cole MacGrath returns from inFamous as Sucker Punch Studios bring us inFamous 2, hot off the shelves!! Get ready for faster action packed gameplay, a deeper & more compelling story and MORE powers at your command!! inFamous is BACK!!

Cole and his best buddy Zeke are back together and are heading to the southern city of New Marais. They are joined by a new character named Agent Kuo, who wants to help Cole amp up his ever growing electrical based powers after his first encounter with The Beast has left him defeated and Empire City totally destroyed. Dr. Wolfe, a man who worked with Cole's nemesis Kessler to build the Rayshpere (which gave Cole his powers in the first place) can give Cole the ultimate power he needs to kill The Beast before it destroys everything as we know it!!

New Marais is also under lockdown by militant dictator Joseph Bertrand, a man who hates conduits (carriers of a gene that can get super powers if the Rayshpere is activated) And he'll make Cole's mission more difficult as the game progresses. He even might have a little secret of his own...

But that's where YOU come into play. Yeah, YOU. Well my man, apparently Cole MacGrath isn't as good at critical thinking as YOU or I, so he's going to need YOUR help!! This is YOUR fight!!

But DO be careful!! Every action has it's appropriate reaction like the first inFamous! YOUR choices affect what direction the story will take, what powers you get and Cole's appearance!!

There are tons of new electric based abilities at your command, as well as some brand spanking new & up gradable ice and/or fire abilities. (You choose, Fire or Ice!!) The melee combat system has been improved by the appearance of the "Amp" which is an electrical based 2 handle baton which Cole now wields when going toe to toe, blow to blow with an army of enemies. Cole is also given "Telekinesis" early on in the game, in which he is able to pick up and throw large objects into enemies which often results in an instant take down!!

Cole is becoming an army of one. He is extremely dangerous in the wrong hands. But the decision is YOURS. It's YOUR moment. YOUR destiny.

OUR Fate is In Your Hands!!
