HALO 3: ODST. Not worth the price.
on October 22, 2009
The single player campaign is fun but only last for aboutt 6-8 hours. The multiplayer is from Halo 3, which anyone who is buying this game probably already has. It also comes with the online map paks, which a lot of people who own Halo 3 already have as well. It only includes 3 brand new maps. I was extremely disappointed with this purchase as it's not even close to worth the full price of a brand new game.
I dropped $80 on this game to do what? Play 8 hours of single player campaign? I don't know what Bungie was thinking here. There was no reason to release this game on discs, or price it as high as brand new games. In hindsight, I would not have purchased this game. If it had been available for download off XBOX Live for say $40 then that would have been reasonable. Instead, Bungie and Microsoft have put a huge price on this game solely for the reason that they know Halo players will soak up anything Halo related. And while I understand where they are coming from, they have taken advantage of consumers big time here. Why did they feel the need to waste resources making this game available on DVD discs? They could have made a ton of money by offering it for download, which I read was the original plan. But then the guys in the boardroom thought, "hey, we can charge the price of a full NEW game, but give not even half the content and those silly Halo loving lemmings will buy it cause they love Halo so much."
Don't buy this game. Go rent it for the single player campaign if you want, but do not buy it!
