I laugh out loud at almost every episode, that is a good measure for me! The idea for the plot is positive, so that adds to this seasons value

I love this show, it's pretty lame that they cancelled it. Awesome characters, I especially like Joy, she cracks me up. I think they got cancelled because the writing in season 3 was a little lacking and got away from the whole plot, "the list". Season 3 was still pretty damn funny though. Great show! Unique story line and I think TV needs more of that.

It was witty, smart and was a breath of fresh air (not being about rich people from California having sex with each other and being shallow, that is). It also used a religious concept in a way that educated people who might not have been open to it before could understand. I have also been a huge fan of Jason Lee since his first movies with Kevin Smith. This DVD is in the format I am really glad that people have started using, the single DVD size case with multiple DVD slots inside. It saves a heck of a lot of space on the shelf which helps if you are a TV on DVD addict like me. The episodes seem extended a little to me but that might just be the re-runs that I have seen lately; when you buy a show for re-runs you can edit it if you want to. I like seeing them in order and the commentaries are good. Funny people made a funny show and as usual the network dicked it around on TV and moved it from timeslot to timeslot and people couldn't find it anymore and forgot about it. At least we can watch them on this DVD whenever we want instead of the crime-drama and glorified mindless socialite shows they keep putting on. |
