I love this movie! While I often think no remake does a better job than the original, this one comes pretty darn close. I enjoy watching it almost if not just as much as the original. And it appeals to my young children more than the original does. So that is a bonus. Definitely a must-have for your Christmas DVD collection!

The little girl is so precious and charming. She melts my heart. I love the way the whole story comes together at the end. Very romantic and adorable. Sweet, sweet, sweet!

I really love this version of Miracle on 34th Street. This is the one my kids will remember more so than the older one.

Ever since I saw this movie as a child, I have watched it every year at Christmas time..... ...... ....

Let me say two things.
1. I love old movies.
2. I mistrust remakes.
However, I loved this remake. It has become a regular part of our Christmas for the past 10 years. My wife loves it and I do as well. Get it now!!

It is rare that we see good remakes of classics, but in this case it is a winner. We have to remember that the story had to be adapted to a new era. They did it without losing the beauty of the orginal story, its lessons and the magic. I love it and I listen to both versions every year during the holiday season.

The original is 5 star plus classic. It's still the best and the remake proves it. Although the film tries hard to meet such high standards, it was never in the cards. On the other hand, if you have young children and they never saw the original, give it a try!

This is a feel good Christmas story. A re-make of an old classic. Very satisfying for me, but I am over 70 years old!

My husband says I am a big kid, but I love this movie and watch it every Christmas so I was delighted to get my own copy. Most people know it is about Santa and a little girl who doesn't believe in him because her mother was badly hurt and thinks believing in fairy tales is a good way to be hurt again. Susan, the little girl, asks Santa for things she thinks he can't possibly get, a particular house, a father and a baby brother. Santa manages to convince Susan he is genuine not to mention the whole of New York City and the movie ends in a very romantic way.
