Whether you're a laptop on-the-go type gamer or just one that is looking for a nice mouse pad for their desktop, this one will do the trick.
There are only a few things to really note here...
1. The mat is extremely thin, but the fabric is soft. Meaning, if you're the kind of gamer who wants your mouse to slide across the mat at breakneck speeds, you'll probably be better off with a harder (and alas, less portable) mat.
Don't get me wrong. Your mouse will glide across this thing really smoothly, but it all comes down to personal preference. I personally don't mind that this pad has a touch more drag than a more rigid one would have.
2. Razer suggests you can use this as a screen protector. Personally, I would not recommend this for a number of reasons, including that the pad is almost certainly not the same size as your screen and so it would probably leave awkward outline marks on your screen.
Aside from that, your laptop is probably designed to have the least amount of available space between the screen and the keyboard when closed shut, so putting something in-between the two may have some unintended consequences in the long run. Up to you, though.
3. The pad rolls up really nicely and I actually kept the original packaging to toss it in when I'm not using it. This keeps it clean too, since this pad is likely going to be a dust magnet if you use it in a dust prone environment. I just play my games and put it away, but that's just me.
If you have a Razer Orochi and want a mouse pad to go with it, this one is perfectly designed for it. If you have any other mouse and want a pad that isn't going to take up half your desk space and isn't super rigid yet doesn't have an inch of padding, then this is a great buy.

This is mat is fantastic for laptop users.
If you want to have a good quality Mouse Mat when you are using laptop outside, get it!
I used to have a blank paper to use it as my mouse pad, but it was slippery on any desk and...looked very cheap.
So I decided to look for a slim, mobile friendly mouse mat and found this Razer Kabuto Mouse Mat.
It fits inside your laptop, so you don't have to worry carrying this around. So convenient!
This mat will grab onto the surface so good, thanks to the textured and rubberized mat.
The actual surface feels very smooth and I've been using it for few month and it did not get dirty at all!
Very good build quality!

Very nice mat. It's tracked on a variety of mice I've used very well, sticks to various table surfaces, and it's thin and soft enough to double as a screen protector when I close the laptop. I do have to be careful how close to the hinge I put this mat, though, otherwise the laptop won't fully close---it's not quite thin enough for *that* to work!
