Streets and Trips asa GPS replacement,
This review is from: Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010 with GPS (DVD-ROM)
If you own a netbook using Streets and Trips as a relacement for a GPS is an alternative. Microsoft has done only a fair job with S and T. It is not easy to use particularly when driving along. Please stop the car before playing with it. Shortcomings:Does not remember favourites. It does not assume that you are on a road so frequently says "off route" It does not change scale as you get close to a turn. Positives: It does allow you to plan trips and stops on the computer first. You can use your netbook for other purposes too. It is cheaper than a GPS

Microsoft Streets,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010 with GPS (DVD-ROM)
This product was easy to install and seems to work as suggested. Unfortunately, one of the first screens that came up was that I can pay another 25 dollars and get the latest issue. I had thought I had bought the latest issue. So I am disappointed. Had I seen I could buy a newer model, I would have purchased it in the first place.
