The Cuisinart Smart Stick Hand Blender is fantastic and I am so glad I purchased it. I find it efficient and easy to clean and have used it to make smoothies (keep the fruit pieces small), puree soup, and cream peanut butter. My sister-in-law makes a to die for Chocolate Dream Pie which requires the blending of peanut butter and tofu. She couldn't find anything in my kitchen that produced the creamy filling needed for this pie, so as I love this pie, I started looking for something that would do the job. The answer, the Cuisinart Smart Stick Hand Blender. Perfect results everytime.

When the motor burned out, it was still on warranty. BUT I would have had to ship it to Ontario for a minimum of $15, and include a cheque for $10 to cover return postage. At $25 to maybe receive a replacement, I've decided to buy a new one. Probably won't buy a Cuisinart again.

This blender is perfect for pureeing hot soup, which is really the only thing I'll use it for BUT I make soup a few times a week so it will get lots of use! This hand blender is comfortable to hold while operating. It's got a very sturdy stainless steel blending stick which cleans thoroughly, quickly and easily. The blade is sharp and makes fast work of the pureeing process without mess or splatter. My last hand blender: (1) was awkward to hold while operating (2) was plastic, it melted and bent from the hot soup (3) which in turn, scratched the pot bottoms and (4) drew food up the blade shaft and into the blender making it impossible to clean... the liquid would drip out as the unit dried - yuk! This Cuisinart won't have any of those issues/problems. I like that it doesn't come with a box of attachments I'll never use. It's really not worth saving a few bucks on one of the cheap ones - even if you don't plan on using it much, sooner rather than later the cheap one will need to be replaced. This is a great value with a good warranty!

We had an Oster before but this is much better. The business end is metal and much stronger, and being a two piece it cleans well in the dishwasher, drying well without rusting.

Rapide, pratique pour faire des sundays, jus, crêpes, bon pour déjeuner. Beau cadeau! Il se nettoie bien, se sert bien.

the price is great. it's super useful to make soups and baby food. can't complain. really better than scooping everything into a blender then transferring back into the pot.

This is the second one I have purchased - one for home and one for our cottage. I would definitely recommend buying it

I've bought a few hand blenders. I've seen a review of this one by some chefs on a french program called *L'Épicerie*. And it was the one that was the most highly recommended among all the others, including expensive ones. The plus is the stainless steel blender. It doesn't melt or bent when you use in very hot liquid or food. I've used it only once so far but I'm very satisfied. I highly recommend it.

I love everything about this blender and am so happy I chose it after looking into several others. It works like a dream, and I love how easy the cleanup is! Highly recommended!

This is just a great powerful immersion blender. Versus a regular blend, it takes less space and it infinitely less complicated to clean, esp. for puréeing very small or very large quantities.... it is great for baby purée (I bought a stainless steel beaker separately because I do not want my food, esp hot food to stay in plastic) and I also love to use it in the pot to purée soups (it was so inconvenient before, even if I had a very large regular blender. I also love that the part that comes in contact with the food is stainless steel, years ago it was all plastic. The only thing, it is described as 8 inch long, well, the actual stainless steel arm is 7 inch long, so if you have a very tall pot, well I am not sure whether it works, I have yet to use it with my large soup pot.
Anyway, I am very happy with this product and hope to use for years and years, it seems quite sturdy and it is indeed ergonomic, as they describe it.
If you are not sure, well I bet his blender will not dissapoint you.I hesitated between the Kitchen Aid and this one, and I am very glad with my choice.
