I researched a bit before buying this. Most complaints seem to be the saw isn't tough enough or the battery doesn't last. I have no problems with either. You have to let the saw cut for you and not force it. And battery life is surprisingly efficient. Of course this doesn't replace a corded saw. But I've had zero issues cutting chip board, plywood, 2x3, 2x4 even cement board. Great tool. I picked up two xrp batteries for 90 bucks after so I wasn't sharing batteries with my drill. Very satisfied.

order and delivery fast and efficient. saw great to use where you havent got a plug. used it several times already and my nephew said he might take it home with him!!

Good for cutting 2x4 and other small pieces of softwood. Has a little trouble with hardwoods and some laminates, especially if the blade is dull. With the battery in, the balance seems a little off, you can get used to it.

Great item!! I'm using it lots. It works great but this saw uses a lot of battery power. lol it's a good thing I have four 18v battery's for my tools, but I'm still glad I have one.

Great saw, great brand name I have a number of De-WALT tools as a professional carpenter for the last 30 plus years I have come to rely on power tools to help get any job done. I give this saw the full test and It as not let me down yet.

This was received early for the holidays, Husband thought it was a terrific idea - no cords, no limits. This will be used a lot.
