I bought the white model in October 2011 and when it arrived it was not able to cook any bread at all. It seems that the heating element was not heating enough and all the bread we tried to make were under cooked. We returned it to Amazon (thanks for the great service) and bought the Black model to see if it will act the same way. It was able to cook all the bread recipe we tried but after a couple of months, the kneading cycle began to be noisy and it felt like there was broken gears or something like that. then the noise disappeared but this week end, the kneading was very load and suddenly the machine stopped and we hear a humming sound like if the electric motor was ON but without any motion.We removed the baking pan to see if it was causing the trouble but the problem comes from the machine, not the pan. Now we are stuck with this broken machine that I hope I will be able to have replaced under warranty. It is impossible to open it since the company put some anti theft screws everywhere.

Very deceived by this machine and by the Zojirushi company. Not reliable and poor manufacturing quality.

After the repair, this one works fine now. Still hard to do gluten free brad.

I used The Best Gluten Free Family Cookbook by Donna Washburn and Heather Butt. I chose a Canadian cookbook because of the difference in American and Canadian flour. I baked the recipe for stuffing a turkey. It was so perfect you can't imagine and the stuffing was to die for.

This is my first breadmaker and I can't imagine one better. It was so quiet, doesn't weigh much and was fast. I was paying about $8.00 per loaf of gluten free bread and now can make my own which taste even better.

This was a completely positive experience and I recommend the breadmaker and the cookbook heartily.

This is my first break maker, received it two days ago, and today I baked my first loaf of whole wheat bread. It turned out perfectly and I've just enjoyed a wonderful sandwich. I will be using this machine regularly, and trying all sorts of different types of loaves now that I see how easy it is.

Amazon did it again !! Thank you Amazon for selecting this product for sale. I love my new breadmaker. This is not my first bread maker... I have had other "top of the line" machines, and was happy with them.. until along came Zojirushi.
It is indeed the Queen of machines. It is exactly as presented... and the instructions are simple and well laid out.... the recipes are excellent... I will admit that I thought that I had already found the ultimate recipes.... they were easily ajusted for the new larger machine. It is a pleasure to use this machine for large loaves and know that the bread is not going to be stuck all over the lid of the machine... I love it !!In fact, I love it so much that I have ordered 2 more for gifts !

I have a charlescraft bread maker purchased in 1985 and it worked great all these years. The bread pan got badly marked and it was a struggle to get the bread out. Thought I would update to the latest and greatest and am not disappointed. The larger loaf sure helps as with my old bread made small loaf only and would be gone quickly once the gremlins smelled the fresh loaf. If this one lasts half as long as my old one it will outlast me..lol.. I strongly recommend this bread maker if only for its simplicity and makes great bread. thanks for reading.

This bread maker turned out to be just what I expected and more. The dual paddles are great, the bread comes away easy when finished baking. The bread pan is a good quality product and easy to insert and remove. The bread when cooked comes out looking like a regular loaf. The recipes are few, but good. I was a little reluctant to buy, due to the price. But after using the machine I am very happy and would purchase this item again in a minute.

Works well. Although after 1 month the metal bread pan split for no reason... $100 bucks for a new pan!

Overall the machine is good. It is quiet. It makes a very even bread, no lumps. I appreciate the ability to adjust the length of each stage of the bread making. It is designed for a big loaf and the biggest dissapointment is that is tends to bake the bread until the crust is very hard unlike my last bread maker which didn't do that.
