I bought this game for my grandson, thinking that it would be complete. He has told me that it cannot be played without a mat to stand on. I was not given any info about this mat, and have no idea how to get one. So the game was a complete waste of my money.Why is the mat not sold along with the game?

I ordered this product from amazon and it arrived earlier than the date I was expecting. It was in perfect condition and exactly as described. This game is fantastic! I am only half way through the game but I love how you get to play not only as Aragorn, but you can also visit the Shire any time and play as Sam's son, Frodo. I recommend this game to all Tolkien fans of any age. This game can be played at three different difficult setting so it is good for kids or beginner gamers or those with more experience at gaming.
