5.0 out of 5 stars It's awesome
Great sounding music from a great hip-hop artist. I love how k-os explores different kinds of music and implementing elements of that type of music in his usual hip-hop tunes. You get, of course, hip-hop, rock, break beat, electronic and so much more. Personally, this is one of the best albums I have ever heard in a while .. It's worth every penny

3.0 out of 5 stars K-os: Canada's Kanye West
K-os truly is Canada's answer to Kanye, in both the good and the bad sense. Both are highly creative, have a similar ear for production, have a few near-genius tracks under their belts, and even have the same nasly (cough *WEAK*) voice. Also, both have proven themselves to be self-indulgent a--holes who are obsessed with overproduction and have given up on writing...

3.0 out of 5 stars K-os: Canada's Kanye West, April 18 2011

K-os truly is Canada's answer to Kanye, in both the good and the bad sense. Both are highly creative, have a similar ear for production, have a few near-genius tracks under their belts, and even have the same nasly (cough *WEAK*) voice. Also, both have proven themselves to be self-indulgent a--holes who are obsessed with overproduction and have given up on writing meaningful lyrics. But now on to this album: it has its moments but it's altogether uneven. Some of the songs are very good and should have gotten more exposure ( 4,3,2,1 is probably the best on the album) but EVERY song is overproduced, some so much that I can't even listen to them, there's just too much going on and it gives me a headache. Lyrically, there's nothing really special here. I'd label this as a failed experiment that's worth buying only for the singles. At least it's cheap and will support Canadian music.
