Would have liked to see more action, I've spent 20 to 30 minutes not shooting at anyone during specific missions (if you did shoot at anyone, game over). Great story and graphics, would have worked out better if you didn't have to babysit the followers.

After playing this game for a month (non-stop) I choice to revisit my earlier review and award Ghost Recon: Future Soldier a well deserved top marks & revise some of my initial criticisms.

"Ghost Recon: Future Soldier" The latest installment of the Ghost Recon series is so far the best edition I've played (I've been playing the series since the original Xbox)

This new chapter of Ghost Recon is much more accessible than the former Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2, or any of the previous Ghost Recon titles. This one is more action based. The in-game tutorial is helpful, that welcomes new players and brings them up to speed without any steep learning curve. The controls are fairly straight-forward and easy to comprehend. Players will be ready for action.

PROS:

The campaign is quite fun, especially when playing with friends in the co-op mode. (up to 3 players online/2 players split-screen for local)

Equipment/Gadgets like detection grenades, UAV drone, among others are cool to bring into battle.

GunSmith mode lets you customize your favorite guns to your liking (there are many options)

Guerilla mode is a great feature and a new edition to the series; secure and defend your base from enemy waves.

Multiplayer is a lot of fun with 3 different classes to choice from (Scout, Engineer, & Rifleman) each with their own unique specialty. Gaining points to upgrading weapons is a lot of fun and gauge replay value. Like many people are saying, the tactical/objective approach on the battlefield is a refreshing escape from the much loved Call of Duty.

CONS:

Only major issue with the game is the troublesome server that keeps on kicking me and my brother offline (very frequently). The loading times are little long as well.

Another thing to note, this game is missing a traditional function of the Ghost Recon series, the ability to plan/direct your squad members with objective points. This is apparent in single player campaign, but it shouldn't be a problem when playing with friends in co-op mode.

This a very FUN GAME! This should satisfy any Ghost Recon gamer!
I'm still waiting for Rainbow Six Patriots from UBISOFT
