Garmin 110,

Received my Garmin 110 a few weeks ago and love it. Was able to charge it and go, not a lot of set up at all. Compared it to my phone running app and the GPS is accurate. It's simple to use, I had a Garmin 405 previously and it was too complicated and technical. If you just want to have your pace, distance and time while you run, this is for you. When you upload to the garmin training center on the computer you can map out your routes, your average pace etc.

Well this is my third Forerunner. I had a 301 which was good but the size was a bit... we'll say clunky. Then I had a 405 but the battery died and the touch bezel turned out to be a nightmare. Talk about accidental "clicks".The 110 is my favourite so far. It's really lightweight. It's not overloaded with features I don't need or use. It tracks GPS route, heartrate, distance, time, and elevation. I upload the data to Garmin's Connect site so I can visually see my walks. So far the battery is lasting good, the only thing I'll say is the battery life of the 301 is unreal, but it's also many times larger than this. I like that the 110 is more discrete and lighter, so far I'm happy with my purchase. Give it a try!

I bought this watch for about 175$. Then, I learn that the 410 is not only 20 bucks less at costco, but also a wayyy better choice. I'll explain why this watch doesn't meet any of my demands and why you shouldn't buy it. First off, the 410, is 20 bucks less at costco and has about 20 options more with it and comes with a heartbeat sensor. The heartbeat sensor is also compatible with the 110, but for the extra cost of 60$. so you paid 235$ for a watch and a heartbeat sensor and still have less options than the 155$ watch... ok, if that doesn't convince you not to buy this watch this will. Get this... The watch doesn't calculate real time pace... Really Garmin?!?! How the hell is that supposed to help you, I wouldn't even recommend this for a beginner. It calculates your TOTAL pace which means that if you start going faster, it won't show if you suddenly start changing your pace to a really fast one. The 410 takes your real time pace every 3 seconds and gives you an average pace for your race total, it shouldn't be an option, this is the WHOLE POINT of having a GPS watch, THAT and THE HEARTBEAT SENSOR which you have to re-buy. 410 also has a option which lets you choose the pace of a virtual partner and see if you can beat him. Go read the reviews about the 410 and buy this one, even if you can't buy it at low cost at costco, I suggest you buy this one at a more expensive price than the 110. It's really the worst watch I've ever seen

This product is awesome. I love it. It does everything it says it does very well. It's simple, totally designed for the non-GPS geek. It's fast to acquire satellites and the Garmin Connect web experience is really great too. It's nice to be able to back over your run data and even play back your track. The only thing that would make this better is if it had a timer for interval training. If you are doing a learn to run program of walk 1 minute, run 5 minutes, etc., then there is really no way for this watch to let you know you've done your set. Other than that small quibble, it's 5 stars good. :)

Very pleased with this sport watch. It is fairly easy to set up and use. I joined the online program and can view details and stats from my walks. As a walker it is ideal for my purposes. Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS-Enabled Unisex Sport Watch (Black)The only fault is that the unisex strap is quite bulky for my small wrist and the vinyl strap is quite sweaty.
