This is certainly a more crafted and produced album from Stars. Not as 'pop' as previous albums and as the title reflects slightly darker of tone. A very enjoyable listen from it's first play.

I'm listening to this on NPR's First Listen website. I'm already in tears, and I've only managed to get to cut 3.I've said that what makes a song one's favourite is when it sounds like every thing you've ever loved, and yet generates the awe that comes from having heard those songs for the first time. This is one of those. |
