Pros - i like the CD player. For what I paid the sound is fairly clear and I like the portability of the product.

Cons - the cassette player ... not so pleased with this part of the unit which is my main reason for purchasing it. The cassette door gets jammed often which takes a while to open it. The cassettes play at a slow speed which creates a warp in the sound of the music I am playing. Each cassette played reflects some degree of this malfunction.

When I first turned on the radio I was extremely impressed! Sounds very good...really fills the room. It is awesome that it has it's own remote. My boyfriend was also amazed...VERY Sony quality! I highly recommend this product!

I have received this CD player yesterday. It's really good. So far I have tried the CD player not the cassette and so far it's nice. The remote is very handy and helpful, however it doesn't have all the buttons on the CD player itself, but it's truly sufficient. The only concern, the speaker rattles with high volume with some songs, also there is sometimes noise comes from CD itself when it's being played.

In all cases I recommend this product, I like it.

I use this radio in my classroom and I must say it has good sound projection and does play my mp3 cds well. Electronique Hi-Fi was also very helpful in answering my questions quickly.

This is a real nice boombox. It does play MP3 back- does not come with the audio cable. Else a nice unit. Would buy again!

We've been using it everyday after we received it. Though the looking is kind of "old-fashioned", the sound is very clear and it projects well. My children used to read a lot but now they can listen to audio books. That makes me happy because sometimes I'm worried that they may get near-sighted.

It's difficult to find a Boombox able to read MP3 disk. This one can. I'm satisfied.
