I remember some 20 years ago when most of the Metal community was shocked after hearing Metallica's "black" album (as it as been nicknamed) & how commercial it was. To go from "And Justice for All" to that hard rock sound was almost heresy. Thank God Megadeth was still going full blast with "Rust in Piece"; an album that simply defined an era. To commemorate that classic album, guitarist/singer/band founder Dave Mustaine & the boys are back with a CD/DVD release of "Rust in Piece", the album played live in its entirety. Praised for the technical playing that "Rust in Piece" offered to the fans, this live release will be praise for the same reasons as this time there are no studio tricks. Dave can't record the guitar on one day & record the lyrics the other day as this is live. This offering is a true testament of Mustaine's pure talent when you see & listen to him sing & play at the same time songs like "Take No Prisoners" & "Five Magic". Guitarist Chris Broderick has no problem re-doing Marty Friedman's solos playing them to pretty much perfection. Here's a little fun fact for all Metal fans; while you can't clearly hear them on the CD, you can see Exodus singer Rob Dukes & Testament's own Chuck Billy do the back vocal for "Peace Sells (but who's buying)". It might not be a must have, but if you like live albums you won't be disappointed with the quality & energy of "Rust in Piece live"

THis is the best example of pure metal guitar perfected. I would tell any wannabe shredders to purchase this awesome DVD. Isuggest the blue ray high def disc keep the faith ANARCHY!!!

Great blu-ray, Great Album! If you are a fan of megadeth then you will love it like I do. Nice picture, Great Guitar Playing!
