Good buy!,

My husband and I have now watched disc 1-4 of Season 1 of Ghost Whisperer and have really enjoyed it so far and we were just commenting on how it was worth it for us to buy this series. It is quite a good show and we find we totally loose ourselves in it. We quite like the characters: Melinda, Jim and Andrea and we think the actors portraying them are excellent.

Received DVD's quickly.Although there was one damaged disc, I kept the series and have enjoyed hours of viewing entertainment. Amazon was quick to respond to my inquiry regarding the one disc that did not work and a compromise was made. It was much appreciated and I look forward to continual shopping at Amazon.ca

Started Out Great, But Went Downhill in Season 4,
This review is from: Ghost Whisperer: The Complete Series (DVD)
This, I'm not going to lie, used to be my favorite show- I was completely obsessed, to the point that it was all I could ever talk about. So, whoever is reading this may ask... how did this obsession fade? *WARNING, spoilers ahead*I started to watch the show in season two, when I was eleven. I loved all of the episodes, and I was intrigued by the whole 'ghost' world. Then, Gabriel came- and this storyline was what got me truly hooked on the show. I loved season two, all of the episodes were excellent- and the last few episodes were the best. I watched season one after season two finished- it was the first dvd set i ever bought. I LOVED season one- the tone was perfect, all of the episodes were great, and Melinda's friend Andrea was a great character, who shouldn't have been killed off. There were also the evil spirits of Wide Brim Hat Man, and Laughing Man who were intriguing and should have continued on in the later seasons- but i will talk about that. Great finale, like season two. Season three was also great- I didn't like two of the episodes, and I didn't like how dark the show was becoming... the ghosts weren't emotional like they used to be in seasons one and two- but this season had some great episodes and Professor Rick Payne (the best GW character) became a regular, and he was the best part of season three:) Then... there was season four. Professor Payne left, a very annoying character (Eli)came to replace him; Jim died, but came BACK by jumping into another guy's body, and the storylines were becoming too far-fetched. This was the end, for me. I only saw a bit of season five, but I was too disappointed to watch anymore. This show had so much potential, and I find that they kept on adding new plots all the time, and never went back to the old ones. Like what ever happened to Gabriel? Why couldn't they ever bring him and Wide Brim Hat Man back? They could have completed the whole 'blocking the light' storyline they had going on. I find so much was left unfinished, and this show could have been on the air for a long time- I truly believe that. If they wouldn't have killed off Andrea's character, I'm sure that the show would have grown even more, because she was a great character, and Delia's character was so unnecessary- she brought nothing to the show, really. I also don't think the show should have jumped five years- I get that they wanted Melinda's son to be older, but I think that the time jump really scared the audience off. I'm giving the complete series three stars, for the first three seasons. My advice to you are to invest in the first three seasons- you'll get your money's worth. If you want to see seasons four and five, I'd watch them only for free. Yep, this show could have been one of the greats. I'm sad that it ended this way.

Mauvais affichage,
