Fun for Kids,
Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest (Video Game)
This game seems to be aimed at kids under 12, who are not already hard-core gamers. My girls, aged 9 and 11 were thrilled with it and played it through together to the end in a week or so (on easy). There is no blood, as you hack a creature to death the only visual is their health bar diminishing. The controller is quite simple to use. Playing as Gandalf is fun but he definitely has a lesser role and the kids needed to take turns being Aragorn.I played it for a while on difficult and it was "amusing" but I was dissapointed that the response to the move controller was simplistic. You cans slash sideways, or up and down, or thrust, thats about it. If you want to swing your sword around over your head you are out of luck.

Despite being one of the glitchiest games I've ever played, this game was very fun set in a colourful and cute environment. If you're looking for an easy platinum this is it as you can obtain all the trophies on easy. However, while the game is relatively easy with simplistic commands and menus, quests can be frustrating as some of them show up at random times or not at all unless you exit and re-enter the game. Overall a light and fun game that's suitable for all ages.
