I did a lot of research before making this purchase, and I am happy with my choice. I wanted a system that would play Blu-ray discs, stream media from the internet, and sync up with my PC. The PS3 does all of this, plus it plays video games :) If you are looking for a system that does it all, this is the one!

The only problem with this console is that it's a colossal time snatcher. Playing playstation 3 is like being in a time warp. Watch out for your marriage!

Works as expected. Seems to be capable of playing PSX games but not PS2 games. Doesn't have any grips to allow it vertical positioning but that's not a big deal for me. Runs games as expected so there's really nothing to gripe of praise, it works.

Though I play games most of the times, but I want to see facebook on PS3. Guys please provide the app soon.

It's a very good system. The only weird thing that I have seen so far is the fact that it cost the same as the 120GB (weird, right?) and that, when streaming music from a media server to the ps3, there are times when the ps3 doesn't recognize the server. Aside from that, everything is a-ok!

I am very happy with the 160GB ! Its a great system ! I reccomened geting this one if your thinking of shopping for christmas !!!

Great machine. loads of fun. does everything. Movies, games, netflix, stores pictures and music. Good value for your money. fun foer the whole family

ps2 was the last good console by sony, the ps3 is powerful but the console to me is a failure, the interface is such a mess
an ex.: when i first plugged into my lcd tv it defaulted to 1080 24hz which was very hurtful to the eyes, why would it default to this interface is beyond me, i had to drill through the interface to find the settings to fix this to 1080p 60hz, a similar thing happened to one of my friends it defaulted to the same res but his tv only supported 1080i so would not display at all

also it's noisy, heavy and blurays take forever to load, if you pause your game then resume you have to wait for bluray to start loading again which takes between 10-20 secs, only reason i bought it was for god of war3 which is amazing I have to admit

but again it dépends some people find it way better than the xbox, I don't!
