This is not the exact model but I did purchase a salton induction cooker with digital controls. It came with one stainless steel pot.
Be prepared to change or buy new cookware as this cooker is very particular as to what it will accept in size and material.
If your pot or pan is a 1/16th of an inch too big or small it will not work.
I have not had it work with any non stick pans of any description.
It does work with an enamel pot but who cooks with enamel these days??
It will accept cast iron as well as stainless steel...from minimum 5 " to maximum diamter of 12".
The cheap stainless steel pan it comes with is horrible for frying and really only good for boiling or water based cooking.
Note I am a cook by trade.
I see no good reason for this single burner induction cooker and actually only purchased it because it was the only electric burner I could find at the time when I needed one.
I am not prepared to change all my pots and pans to accomodate it.
I do not recommend it and would not purchase one again...ever.
I paid 90.00 on "sale" for this at London Drugs. I would estimate its value tops at maybe 39.00 CDN.
The fan is also noisy while the unit is working.
The lack of practicality overweighs the safety features IMHO.
