We are using this product and it does seem to be working. Since our kittens only go on the kitchen counters after everyone is sleeping it's going to take some time to be sure. My one pet peeve is that you don't seem to be able to buy refill canisters, you have to purchase the whole thing. An environmental waste in this day and age. I think the addition, a citrus or citronella scent would be an additional reinforcement as well. I have only found this product at a local pet store and it was twice the price, plus taxes. That's too much for a bit of plastic and a small can of pressurized air. Although we could really use another 4 of these, even at $ 30, that's just too expensive for today's economy.

I gave this product 4 stars because it 's very easy to use, and it seems to work and it is portable. I wish we could buy refills, because 1 little can won't be enough to cover the off limits area in our house.

This is a terrific product and solution to keeping away your pets from an area that you don't want them in or near. I am using these on strategic corners of my furniture so that my cat will not use my upholstery as a scratch post. Very effective and just the sight of it sends her walking. The spray is just air so harmless. I wish I had found these years ago. A bit of a pricey investment initially if you purchase a few, but considering the investment in furniture, a small price to pay. Re-fills are reasonably priced. Putting the unit and can together may seem tricky (from their instructions) but once you get the hang of it (simply push it down until it clicks) - no problem.

We bought two of these spray cans in order to keep four persistent male cats from spraying certain areas. While it works for one area at a time, cats still spray new areas not covered by the spray can, AND two of the four have figured out how to sneak around the cans! For complete coverage and effectiveness, therefore, we would have to have dozens of these spray cans. This would be cost prohibitive, and the constant whooshing of the cans would give the cats (and us humans) nervous breakdowns. So, great product perhaps to dissuade one or two cats who frequent one or two areas only. Not suitable for our situation, but perhaps nothing is... short of feline assassination which is not an option because we still love these guys for some reason...

It's a perfect repeller for your cats that want to jump over your dinner table, and cats are now standing off the table !

Ma chatte était insupportable la nuit. Dépendante affective, elle grattait et miaulait à la porte tous les matins autour de 6heures. Nous nous étions presque résolus à dormir à vie avec des bouchons pour les oreilles, jusqu'à ce que je tombe sur ce produit SSScat. À partir du moment où elle s'est approchée de la porte et a reçu ce jet d'air, nous ne l'avons plus entendue !

Très facile d'utilisation, ce produit n'est pas dangereux pour les animaux.

Seul point négatif, un peu cher, vrai. Mais pour nous, le prix en a vraiment valu le coup car nous dormons enfin le matin !
