one of the greatest show's made by the CBC!, great talent, great location, great script! simply awesome show!!!!
would reccomend to anyone

I'm so happy The Republic Of Doyle has come out on DVD, we could watch each episode a hundred times and still come back for more.I don't think you can name a genre for this series,( action, comedy, mystery ? )it's unique and who woudn't want to go straight to Newfoudland to visit after seeing this. We live in B.C. originally from England and would love friends & family over there to see this but can't send it to them as the format is different, ( take note Amazon.co.uk )Sean McGinley is very well known there and I think this would be a big hit in the UK.
Would also like to mention the speed of delivery from Amazon. This got to us in 2 days, WOW, thank you for that.

Fantastic show. I just love it. Great acting, storylines and filmed in one of the most beautiful provinces in Canada. If you have not seen the show check it out!

Its funny but still has a story. And, I love the Canadian setting. Great to see good Canadian television. Have seen seasons 2 and 3. Can't wait to get my hands on Season 4!!

Republic of Doyle is a fabulous, Canadian show. Very funny and full of adventure and mishaps. Great first season, oh yeah!

LOVE IT!!!!! Way to go Canada for making small towns appear in TV and for making a show that makes you love the characters. Looking forward to the next one....

This is a great show. I love the relationship between father and son Doyle. I did find Jake's ex-wife a little annoying at time BUT overall a really fun hour (okay 43 mins) of TV. Really happy it is now in its 2nd season

I love this great TV show. Dramatic, funny, smart,adventurous, everything you'd want to be entertained on a weekly show. Love the music in the show as well, with Great Big Sea providing the theme song and artists like Ron Hynes in various episodes.

I only wish that the show was available weekly here in the U.S.

It is refreshing to see such a great show being done in Canada. This show is full of great characters and great story lines. Competes with anything on television today, and is full of uniquely Canadian inside jokes. Long live the Republic!
