I love the humour style of this show. The actors work well together, well written. Not your standard laugh track show. Great small town feel, good characters. I'd recommend giving it a try.

the show was ok . Afterward I wanted to go to the town of Kitchener to visit the hotel bar, where some of it was filmed I believe.

it was a slow burner that might have made it bigger given a chance but the series was cut after 2 season's.

a decent cast but the sponsors wanted a corner gas style hit and it was not. that was a stealth show that just sneaked up on you and became a hit.

sorry fred and the rest of the cast, you will be back though.

I'm sorry, and no disrespect to the fine cast, but we just didn't care for this show. I thought it was supposed to be a comedy, but came off more as a dramedy, not that there's anything wrong with that, Dan For Mayor just didn't appeal to us. In the final episodes, it seemed like the writers were trying to cram in all their idea's at once, and the stories ended up going every which way, and suffering because of it.

The cast did come together quickly, and very well, I just didn't care for the writing. I know the team behind this show can do comedy very well, we didn't find much of it here though. The dvd will end up for sale in our next garage sale. A shame because we were so looking forward to getting this dvd set.
