After being hesitant to purchase because of the low price, I decided to gamble and buy this product. As of now, it has been installed in my late 2009 iMac for about half a year. The extra 8 Gb definitely make a big difference, and I am pleased to say that the product has been exceptional.
DEFINITELY buy this item!

This memory works perfectly with My Macbook Pro.

I have been using this memory for a while now without any issues.

One of the two sticks was defective, which seems to be a common story. Not recommended unless you want to gamble.

These modules have obviously not been tested at the factory. I ordered 3 kits (six 4GB modules in total) and found that 2 of the modules were defective. One module failed memtest, and the other module was not recognized when inserted (in fact when this module inserted, the whole bank went dead and was not recognized). Confirmed by replacing with working modules.

Unless you have the ability, time and inclination to thoroughly test and troubleshoot memory, I strongly suggest avoiding these, despite the attractive price. I guess you get what you pay for.

Amazon had the cheapest RAM I could find even when looking locally. Shipping to Canada was super fast got it the next day. My workflow increased once I had more memory and didn't need to close down apps to free up memory all the time. I am probably going to buy another one next month to complete my system wide upgrades.

This came at a good price, and was easy to install and seemed initially to work well. However I noticed that I was getting a blue screen about once a week or so on average. Eventually I tried each of the 4GB memories with the original 2GB (6GB total) and while I still got the blue screen with one of the 4GB memories when I swapped it out the blue screen of death problems went away. Now I'm stuck with a defective memory chip that I can't use and can't return.

I have purchased several PNY products over the years. I still have all of them, working well.

This RAM was on for a good price so I bought 2 sets for my Mac Mini and MacBookPro. The speed improvement going from 2Gig to 8Gig was amazing (Mini). The jump from 4Gig to 8Gig reduced delays when multiple people use a laptop, leaving many applications running simultaneously (MacBook)

I told friends about the PNY memory. Their upgrades are also positive.

I installed it on my HP netbook to upgrade from 4 GB into 8 GB, and it works as expected.

I have a Macbook Pro 2010 model. I looked online for reviews and details about different ram upgrades, there were a few people who mentioned about kernel attacks with the PNY ram modules. But for me this has been a great upgrade, I just popped it in, and I turned on my Macbook Pro and I noticed that the applications were launching faster and they were closing faster and there was a significant improvement. I have been using this ram for close to 2 months now and I have not had a single problem. I like PNY products, I have had a PNY usb flash drive and it worked flawlessly, I had Corsair usb flash drive and that gave me trouble. This made me inclined to get PNY instead of Corsair. So if you have a Macbook and you want to upgrade your ram, go for this one, good product and a very good price. if there are any issues you can always return it :)
